It is a shame that the situation has come so

that children will not have a father that they can talk to, honestly.

It is a shame that communication broke down so badly over about children,

that the best interests of the children are not where they should be.

It is a shame that a child has to resort to telling stories and scheming

to get the attention that is felt is needed.

It is a shame that a responsible parent and family would listen,

respond and continue a story without confirmation.

It is a shame that a responsible parent and family would not question the stories of a child,

but to believe them, and nurture them more.

It is a shame that a responsible parent and family

would not question a child’s stories about their other family.

It is a shame that the stories that are continued would hurt other children.

It is a shame that the stories are not kept within the immediate family,

but spread out amongst the schools and workplaces.

It is a shame that a child may lose some friends.

It is a shame that a child may lose grandparents

It is a shame that a child may lose aunts and uncles

It is a shame that a child may lose oneself.

It is a shame that a family gets torn apart because of one lost child.

It is a shame that a family has to revolve its life around another family’s desires.

It is a shame for a parent to have to use Tough Love on a child

of whom it is felt has no desires to take part in another parents’ life.

It is a shame that a responsible parent would need to be the bigger person

so that the children are not hurt anymore.

It is a shame that the other responsible parent has not learned

to let go of both the past and the present.

It is a shame that a responsible parent would not want to

involve the other parent in their children’s lives.

It is a shame that a child would hurt a parent in order to feel loved by the other parent.

It is a shame that one child should be hurt due to the actions of another.

It is a shame that a child would be made to feel

that they must join the other child in their stories in order to be a part of that family.

It is a shame that a father or a mother should be hurt or seem to cause hurt

over the actions of a child.

It is a shame that the actions or reactions of a responsible parent

would cause hurt or harm in another family.

It is a shame that one responsible parent would question

the love of another responsible parent or stepparent towards a child.

It is a shame that a responsible parent would react violently or accusingly

towards another responsible parent or stepparent.

It is a shame that instead of communicating their problem and discussing it like adults

they act like children.

It is a shame that one responsible parent is blinded by tunnel vision

and the other sees the full panorama and both are hurt by that same vision.

It is a shame that stepfamilies aren’t allowed to love and care about stepchildren.

It is a shame that a full time Father has to resort to being a part time Dad!

for the "safety and sanity" of his children.
