Focus on the things you have control over. If mom does not submit to your wish what do you really think you can do...keep the kids from her?
If you try to influence mom's parenting you will undoubtedly cause hard feelings as we do not like to be told what to do...do you?
You brought it up and made it known and I would leave it at that. Worry about the things you CAN control in your household.
