and definitely don't count on your attorney to do all the work. You have to drive the bus yourself, and to do that, you have to study up on all the family code. If you let the lawyer drive the bus, it will cost you a whole lot more than otherwise. don't let that happen. Lawyers are good at milking their customers, and dragging cases out. The laws are written to maximize acrimony, and they were written by and for lawyers. Best interest of the child is a smokescreen. Your child would be much better off with two parents and no lawyers or judges or evaluators. Good Luck, keep us posted. Make sure you are prepared for a move away, that will come back into play, I bet.
