I 've been divorced for over a year now and have
been suffering the continuous assault from my ex.
on visitation (she's cut out or rearranged over 10
times so far this year)and the daily assault on my character and credibility she is raging upon me. I live in Memphis,Tn. and have joint custody
of our 3 yr. old son and know very well how it feels to be apart from your child. The court has granted me every Thursday for 4 hrs. and every other weekend from Fri till Sunday eve.,yet she de
nies my visitations at will and even calls my home
leaving obscenities and assertations of her position as custodial parent and things will be done according to her "no matter what the courts
say". I have a court hearing form this Friday Oct
12th and will let the court system hear what she
seems to believe. The reason I'm telling you this is to let you know that there are others out here
going through similar if not the same horrors and
it is only through the efforts of concerned,caring
individuals that change,if any can be made. Iron-
ically, I really want to work things out for my son's benefit and plan to communicate that to the judge. My ex. has threatened to take my son away
and even out of the country and is now involved
with a man whom she has influenced to participate
in harassing me during my turnover(s) of my son to
her.

It's a swell life, it really can be if both sides
will stop and grow up!
