I pray mine will have a happy outcome as well. Hearing was originally Dec 7, then 14, and now moved to January.

I have been following your case, Richito. I remember you spoke highly of your new atty, then in one post you sounded unsure, then now - Victory!

I felt the same way with my new female lawyer when I paid the retainer ($2000; I now owe her over a $1000 and we haven't been to court yet). The initial meetings were positive (or gave me the feeling that finally I found a good one). But yesterday, I felt that she did not a full grasp of my case.

Many times I felt like giving up, and just take all the crap from the ex (minimizing my parenting despite 50-50 physical and legal; withdrawing 4-year old son from school "because no law says that child must be enrolled"; witholding evidence from the EENT of severe obstructive sleep apnea that resulted in same child not getting tonsillectomy for more than 2 years; etc). This has affected me so negatively - unable to review for the boards, therefore cannot apply for work, while credit card debt (to pay my atty)is mounting, and I will need to start paying my student loan.

Reading about your (and your child's) victory, Richito, tells me there is hope yet. And just reading the many posts of moral support for everyone keeps me going.
