I see the same thing as always happens. Some one always ignores the "actual" bill and makes comments that place GOOD fathers in with the bad apples.
Like all fathers are violent and abusive. The bill says in the article that special provisions are in place for that and yet this women would rather it not pass due to the "few" that would make it a bad thing.
I also wonder on the remarks saying children do not do as well with more equal time with their parents. Well of course. She works with abused families. Not ones where both parents are not abusive. Hense her claims that "many" women in divorces are abused. That's the only ones she sees!
Now Ray Oster makes sense. Parents would be required to communicate better..Well duh..isn't that what we want! Better for the child if that is a prerequisite. Not encouraging us not to try to be civil and communicate is stupid. Encouraging parents to is better..
Half ass thinking on their part if they don't want adults to act like adults when it comes to their children.
