I know exactly how you feel!! Last end-of-the-school-year year, our summer visitation schedule states every 2 weeks, I get my son for 1 week (actually works out to 10 days Fri-following Sunday). We had been trying to work that 1st week out of school out between us when he got a bug up his butt and decided that he was going to take HIS 2 weeks FIRST. So, that lasted for 2 months...going by the schedule that HE started. Then the last month, he decided to switch and go to the schedule I had proposed. Last minute changes for that long of a visit weren't feasible with work so I was only able to take him for a weekend.

Fast forward to this year. Once again...same problem. Try to talk it out. End of the school year is fast approaching and I can't get a straight answer. In a yelling match on the phone a couple of weeks ago, he tried to say that I "forgot" my son last summer - HE drove to the spot where we exchange ANYWAY and made me look like the bad guy by telling my son I was supposed to be there when Ex knew I wouldn't be. I try to ask for a little extra summer time because 30-70 for me just doesn't cut it anymore, but, because I go back to my lawyer for him to get the rectification from the ex that I didn't get, the Ex is now no longer willing to renegotiate. Besides the fact that he NEVER seems to have a calendar in front of him, he can never seem to let me know enough in advance to rearrange my work schedule. But when he needs an answer from me, it has to be right away or I just don't get to see him.

Your situation sounds all to familiar!! :( I wish you the best!!! What's life without chaos?!? *grin*
