I'm recently devorced. I've signed a no contest with my x-wife for custody of my daughter, not knowing that it meant that she would be given full custody of my daughter, and that I would have no say so what so ever raising my daughter. I just didn't understand what the wording actually meant. I've recently reopened the case, and I need to know what forms and paperwork I need to submit and how to word it in order to get the judge to review my case so that I could possibly have shared custody of my daughter with my wife. They currently live with her soon to be husband. She's moved a total of 5 times since the devorce. She moved in with an ex boyfriend in another instance during the past and has moved out. This has happened within a 2 year period, and I just don't want my daughter to go through the hurt of moving in with my ex-wife and soon to be husband and having it possibly end in another devorce. I'm currently remarried and my wife and I are living together with no children. I currently see my daughter every other weekend with the stipulation that she usually has to be back early on Sunday which means I can only see my daughter one day out of the weekend because she leaves so early on Sunday. My daughter currently goes to school in Reston because they used to live in Reston before my ex became engaged. I currently live in Herndon which is less than 4 miles apart. They recently moved to Fairfax which is on the other side of Town which will make shared parenting tougher with my daughter in another shcool district. However my main concern is wording the paperwork correctly in order to have shared custody of my daughter in the state of Virginia (Fairfax county) Can anyone give me any advice.
