First of all it does not matter who pays for the attorney, the attorney is representing you and he is your employee, you tell him what you want and demand he do it, write it out, give him a copy and you keep a copy and if he screws it up then file a complaint with the bar association. You tell him what you have said here and insist he get it into the record. Do not allow any false allogation to go unchalenged, make them prove everyone or admit they are false. catch the accuser in a lie and you destroy their credibility. they catch you in a lie and your credibility is down the tubes forever.
