yes TX has the same rules, the best thing is if you cant get him to go with you and the mom doesnt help to make him, sit outside her house, notify the police that the mother will not live up to her court order..(by making the child go to you).. and file a contempt on the mom, once you have a stack of these, take the contempts to your lawyer or a judge in your county that deals with custody cases and get custody of him or if you dont want full cust. then you can make visitation rights for you as close to the moms. rights as possible. there are alot of resources in TX to help you file on your own without paying your lifes savings to the lawyer.. one you should look in to is the F E R fathers for equal rights in dallas they help with everything from support groups to getting you a lawyer free that is FATHER FRIENDLY.. my husb. and i are activly joining this particular organization and it benifits us great.. he is a member now & i do alot of volunteer work for them.. if you have further Q's i can give you our email.....
