This is convoluted, but to make it short I lost custody to my exboyfriend who has married my ex-best friend about 3 years ago due to the fact I had no representation (witch trial).After which he moved to Texas, I live in Georgia.
He has denied me visitation at Christmas and other holidays, has only allowed me to talk with the children if I would agree to being recorded, and many other forms of mental terrorism for the last 3 years.
Now this summer my 5 year old tells me I am just her "birthmom" and cannot tell her what to do. My 9 year old says Kari their stepmom tells her "birthmom" after she refers to me as her real mom to her. This was a slap in the face.
I have a stable job, and have been a Girl Scout leader for the last 3 years.
Is there someway I can get custody back without a costly court battle?
