Yesterday, my husband and I went to court for a hearing on his ex's desire to move with his daughter from Connecticut to Virgina. Reason being is her husband already moved there a year ago because he is originally from there and he obtained a job there. The ex has been waging a battle to move with her daughter for the past year. To our shock and surprise, yesterday at the courthouse, her lawyer covinced her to settle, and as a result, we received primary custody, she lost her child support, and she has decided to move away without her daugther to live with her husband. She has no friends or family down there other than her husband's and she has no job. We are stunned that she would up and leave her daughter who is completely crushed. I have never heard of a woman leaving her child behind. Has anyone?
