the government has determined that children can not vote until they are 18, they do not reach the age of majority and become productive citizens with out good parents to that point. I say the parents rights to parent come before the childrens rights and the state is responsible to protect only those children that do not have Parents. The rights children have are those rights protected by their parents not the courts. When there is proof that the childs parents are not protecting their childrens rights then and only then should the court step in. Allegations are allegations not proof.
