You have to stop right there Clark...there was no "getting away". The cops were enforcing a court order...that is their job...end of story.
Instead of being angry with the cops for doing their job, you should instead be grateful that they dropped the charges instead of throwing your butt in jail and having to sit there while the mess was sorted out in court.
