have just gone to court, personally I wouldn't.
I would start by sending a letter to ex that list the bills still unpaid and offer a payment solution you are comfortable with. Now that he is also paying more each month, the funds simply may not be there.

Frankly I can't pay any bill in 10 days. Budget simply doesn't allow for it. I am typically drained out for about 30 days.

Side note on braces, personally I find them to be cosmetic 90% of the time, and only get done when a parent can afford them. In a divorce family one doesn't get a choice if one parent wants them they have to pay. I would make sure he is aware of all the cost involved and AGREES to being able to pay them, if not then your dd may just have to wait.
