my husband has a nine yr old who is currently living with his grandparents. the childs mother took him from his fathers home when he was eight months old and dropped him off at his grandparents. they would not allow my husband to see the child so he filed paternity on his own to have rights to the child. the grandparents got a guardianship underhandedly in 98. the mother is supposed to pay support but does not and my husband is still paying the support to the mother who now lives half way across the country and barely sees the child. in this day and age how is this possible? my husband and i have been married now for six years and together for eight. the child and us would like him to live with us but are continuealy denied. what can we do?
