I was merely juxtaposing some ideas for literary effect......I don't know, these critics, what are they thinking??
If you need me to I can replace Father one with a father, who is still married and living together as a family with his children, who can't wait for them to get off his hands.
Did Shakespeare have to deal with all this kind of thing I'd like to know......really!

P.S. In truth I am giving this post a dry run before trying it out on my Australian friends, the ones who get wound up so easily by one Dr. Flood (who ironically I've got my sights set on too). One or two are turning on me again for raising questions about equal parenting; you see they are not all nice tolerant guys like you, which is one of the reasons I came up with my little "conversation" play.
