Minnesota has one of the most difficult standards for changing physical custody. You must demonstrate that the child is "endangered" physicall, emotionally or developmentally in their current environment AND that the benefit of the change qill out weigh antyy harm.
It is a very steep burden and greater than any other state I have encountered.
