To follow your thinking they should pass alaw forbidding any active duty service man or woman from parenting children because they have to be called away from them periodically for six months or a year or maybe even longer yet the CP Parent that carries on the good parental responsibilities has no problem with the reuniting them once the tour of duty is over. it only seems to be a problem with divorced parents.
