You miss understand my post. It is fear that is killing us all. true the new commers have the greatest fear. You will continue to be afraid until you get damn good and mad and force yourself to learn as much as you can about everything that is going on and has transpired over the last 40 years. Read every family court law you can find until you completely understand every word in them. Concentrate on your own home state laws. this site has a tremendous amout of information on it so read , read and read. Get a copy of the 1738a and read some of those rulings. read as many of the US supreme court rulings as you can find, learn the vocabulary, study the various forms and documents involved in these kinds of cases. And , And never depend on anyone else to do what you want done. if you want it done right. and finally remember if you have an attorney he works for you. he charges you for his time and is your employee, who in their right mind keeps an unsatisfactory employee. by reading the laws you can gain an understanding of what you can expect that employee to accomplish. Do not demand the impossible from any employee. I have had experience with attorneys that failed to appear, I lost by default and the attorney had been paid in advance.
