the meaning is not hidden --it is non-existent. Age does not automatically make someone opposed to change. Some of the most liberal thinkers have expressed those opinions as elder statesmen. The argument has little merit in my book.
With regard to having a famnily court or family law take on a role that you express as requiring children to show respect certainly seems to be an argument for moe government intrusion into parental rights and an absurd micromanagement of a parenting function. Maybe I didn't understand it right.
