If a parent works night shift and can afford to pay for night time care then why should that parent not be permmitted to have the child during the day. If the parent works day shift and can afford to care for the child durring the day then why should that parent be prevented from caring for the child durring the night. the problem comes when the court forces such financial hard ship on one parent that the parent has a hard enough time caring for it's self. Which would be better for a child a parent that never graduated from high school or a licensed teacher could be either parent. what the courts are allowed to do now is say you dont have a pee pee so you get the kid, because the judge determines that is in the best Interests of the child.
