I am sorry to read howw hard it has been for you. This will be our 1st Halloween with her and she is 6. It coasted us over $10,000 and 2 years of court. and she still has a hard time fallowing the CO. on the weekend we have her if there is no school on friday or monday our time to inculde those days. Well she always frights when we get the exrta time. This last time there was no school on friday and monday so which means we pick her up on thursday and bring her to school on tuesday, well she called us on monday saying she was going to call the cops if we didn't bring her home and we had to tell her to go a head we have a copy of the CO and we will show it to the cops to. So she backed off. Also last yeasr was our 1st christmas with her as well and she tried to tell us it was not in her best intest to be with us.Because it's not fair to her other kids she has. also my DH did not know this child was his untill she was 18 months because the mother and her husband had the kids taken away and he had to do the DNA test and on that stuff and when it was all said and done and he found out the kid was his, the court s say well even though he the father legally the guy she ws married to was the father they got dirvore about a year later and because he didn't want to pay support for a kid that was his he sign over the rights to my DH then the courts hit my DH with 2 years of back support but yet they could not go after him when she was married to her 1st husband. Sorry if you are haveing a hard time understanding this. aand the child to this day has the ex-husband last name and her mother has remarried and has a diff last name. so the child has not her mother last name (or her madden name) or her father last name and the mother won't change it. long story with that to. if you ever what to vent to me about anything i will listen
