Attention Fathers-4-Justice Enthusiasts in Ohio and Surrounding States!

Dust off your Superhero Costumes, turn up the volume on your Bull Horn and wave those purple flags!
Fathers-4-Justice is coming to OHIO!

In true F4J fashion we are going to do this the IN STYLE!
We will start with an...

F4J Ohio LAUNCH KICKOFF PARTY!
A great time to...
• Get loud! (Bull horns are welcome!)
• Get motivated! (This is just the beginning!)
• Get involved! (Get in on the ground floor!)
• and Get organized on a state and regional level!
To help make this a success
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS like YOU!

Why are you being contacted?
You are being contacted because you registered on the F4J web site as being very interested in being contacted related to Fathers-4-Justice US activities. Well now is the chance you have been waiting for!

I am sure you have noticed we at F4J US have been rather quite over the past few months. The reason is that we have been developing a national organization of UNPAID VOLUNTEERS that can properly support and coordinate regional and statewide F4J chapter launches. The basics of this organization are now in place and we are now a fully accredited 501 3c not for profit. (Donations are tax deductible) As a result donations and memberships have started to roll in. Groups are organizing in MN, NY, CA and PA.
I have had countless people ask when we will start to organize in Ohio. Up to now we have had to delay launching F4J in OHIO until we were ready on a national level. THE WAITING IS OVER!

Why Ohio?
• Ohio has one of the worst reputations in the United States for recognizing Fathers rights regarding custody issues.
• Since the "death" of HB232 (The shared parenting bill) in 2003 there has been NO Presumptive Shared Parenting Legislation drafted or introduced in this state. A Bill for Presumptive 50/50 parenting for fit parents MUST be introduced and passed NOW! Similar bills have new been introduced in Michigan and New Hampshire. We MUST give our legislators the PUSH they need to make this happen.
• The rights of fathers and grandparents have been totally ignored
• Domestic violence advocacy groups have succeeded in routinely destroying the rights of good fathers and their children to have meaningful relationships. Due process has all but been abolished!
• Judges and legislators in Ohio have NOT been held accountable for destroying countless father/child and grandparent/child relationships. They MUST be held accountable.
• Father's Rights groups have NEVER been taken seriously in Ohio. This MUST change! It's time for a drastically different approach.

GOALS OF THE F4J OHIO LAUNCH KICKOFF PARTY will be:
1. Gather a number of participants/Members that EXCEEDS ANY fathers rights organization in the history of this state. We are realistically targeting 200-300 attendees! Fathers, Mothers, Grandparents and 2nd wives are all welcome and encouraged to attend!
2. Motivate attendees to recruit MORE participants and members. (Target is 1,000 Ohio Members by Spring 2006!)
3. Communicate F4J short and long term goals and initiatives for Ohio and surrounding states
4. Fund Raising (Money is power!)
5. Announce upcoming actions/demonstrations.
6. MOST IMPORTANT: Generate HOPE where there has been none.
Here are the STEPS we will take to ensure that the F4J Ohio LAUNCH KICKOFF PARTY is a smashing success.
1. Form a Launch Team of at least 10 dedicated volunteers - This will take time and commitment. This team will be the heart and soul of F4J Ohio. Here are some of the key positions and tasks for this team
o F4J Ohio State Coordinator/Launch Team Leader - That would be ME! (John Fowler)
o Media/Advertising/PR coordinator - This is a KEY position that will handle press releases, media calls, publicize and announce the launch party
o Facilities coordination - Identify a launch party facility and handle all facility related issues
