Maybe he has not earned it in your opinion, but what about your daughter's? Isn't it her opinion that counts in this situation? Why would she call him daddy if he wasn't acting like one toward her? Unless, of course, she was "encouraged" (read: coached) by mom and her boyfriend... which in my opinion, is just wrong.
