Here is the letter I have written:
Dear XXXX:
In accordance with our current custody agreement, it is my intention to take advantage of the 5-day unscheduled parenting time on the dates of January XX through January XX, 2006.
At this time it is my plan to be in the XXXXXXX, XXXXXX area no later than Thursday, January XX, 2006. I will plan to pick XXXX and XXXXXXX up from school that day. XXXX and XXXXXXX will be in school on Friday—I will take them and pick them up. We will then remain in the XXXXXXXX area throughout the three day weekend (Monday, January XX, 2006 there is no school).
I will return the children to school on the morning of Tuesday, January XXth, 2006. You may pick them up from school that day and resume your parenting time.
