My ex, through lies in court, obtained custody of our three kids, and has since remarried a woman with two of her own and they have a two year old together. Anyways, we have joint custody, with father for school, with me 3 wknds a month and reverse in the summer. He's always been real understanding since I started traveling with my superitendent fiance. Because of winter weather situations and such sometimes there is no way for me to get to them, over 6 hrs away. Well mind you I have many complaints about the situation but that is not why I'm here. My question comes from this. Four weeks ago I was informed that they would be moving about 20 miles from where they lived before, ok this is fine. Well the weekend they were scheduled to move I was supposed to see my children but couldn't because of blizzard conditions. Well that was the last time I was able to get a hold of anyone. And noone has called me with new numbers, address or any information on my children. There is no excuse. They have multiple numbers to call to reach me, and their home phone and my ex's cell phone has been turned off so I have no way to reach him to set up arrangments, that were already made for me to have my children at Christmas time. I just recently got his mothers number,(whom by the way would rather chew glass then be kosher to me) she is part of the lies that were presented in court to help me lose custody of my children.. I want to know what legal standings I have here and how I can go about finding my children. Believe me there is much more to this situation but I'm learning to deal with one thing at a time. If anyone could help I'd be much obliged. thank you
