Congratulations on your new baby, I'm sure that is the focus of your life right now, as it should be. All the rest of the drama, well, you can hope it will just be water under the bridge someday.
Over in my part of the world, there is also much news, most of it not that good. However, last summer, I was able to take my kid (now 9) to visit some family in Europe for three weeks. I went through pure family court hell to get those 3 weeks, but it was like that credit card commercial - you know, the price of this thing is X, the price of that thing is Y, and the price of the third thing is PRICELESS.
Also, I've been attending law school, and will be taking the CA bar exam in early 2008, which is approaching fast, as those things go.
The rest of the news is not very good, so I'll just focus on the positive.
