I'm an old-timer from years back on the board, don't know if you remember me. I just wanted to say hi, and congrats on your soon-to-be-born little girl. I'm sorry to hear things haven't worked out w/ Ted. Long distance relationships are tough....I know that's how your's started out. Add that with everything involved in a second relationship/marriage, ex's, kids and mixed families, and it's just a whole lot to deal with. I was also in a relationship that started out on the internet, in my case we struggled through it for 5 years...she just moved her this past summer and we got married. That's a good thing...still lots of issues and "stuff" though....adjustments. Nothing's easy it seems in life, we just have to make the best of it we can, because that's the best any of us can do.
I'm glad to hear things are good with your son and that your ex has a good relationship with him....I know that was of great concern to you. I hope your pregnancy with your dauther goes exceptionally well, and she's born healthy and happy. And for your dauther's sake, I hope that whatever is going on with Ted and his family gets resolved at least to the extent that he shows an interest in her, and can be the parent to her that I'm sure you'd like him to be.
