Lawmoe offers excellent advice. Treat this as if he's being charged. Do not answer ANY questions without a lawyer present. This is not something to take lightly.

Also, don't allow CPS in your house without a warrant. Warrants have to be very specific on what they are looking for. Anything they see/find that's not listed on the warrant as to what they're looking for is inadmissable. They also have to have some sort of reasable cause to get a judge to sign any warrant. Warrants actually protect you. Don't interview with them without a lawyer present. They are not your friend, now matter how friendly they seem. As lawmoe said, they're looking for evidence to use against you at this point, not that which can help you.
