Yes she did have them set up payments, I also told the step dad we wouldn't be reaponsile from day one.
The other problem is I can't get a cost from them, they basically just pull a number out their ass. But they will have to do actual charges soon, because the new insurance for 2006 demands it. But the billing lady has been wonderful to deal with, once the payments started coming in from insurance she realized they would be paying more. But since Step dad wasn't paying she didn't bother adjusting the payments.
Also SD is not going right now as she is in residental care. Apparently no one informed the ortho, they just stopped going. I did up a spreadsheet with estimates closer to what insurance would pay and sent in half. Ortho sent back a note NOT to pay anything else until the end cause she now realizes she would have to do refunds and figure out who paid what.
