Well I sort of disagree with your response. Regardless, he made an effort the follow through, even though his response was different initially.

As the stats clearly indicate, a child from a single parent home stands far greater risk of pregnancy, drugs, suicide, etc. It is easy to say no. According to your post he made an effort, regardless if it was what you wanted or not. No one is perfect.

I hope you will reconsider your stance and approach the matter slowly. Good luck
