The "rationale" was that it was ok to require NCPs to continue supporting their children so long as the child is attending school (college, trade school, etc) because that is what "intact" families.

On one hand I can understand, but on the other...originally the child had to be registerd at least 3/4 time (full-time status), had to maintain at least a "C" average and had to supply the state (and the NCP) with proof of enrollment and grades. Also, it was on a go-forward basis (meaning new orders) or ones that were "modified" and the NCP had a form and a address that they would write to if the child was not in complience.

But they changed that last year...ALL orders are subject, the child only has to be enrolled part-time, there is no grade to be maintained and the school is responsible for reporting enrollment and grades to the State and to the parent. Also, the form and address for the NCP have "disappeared".
