Don't despair. He has show his hand and he was bluffing. Sad he is putting your daughter through that. Perhaps you could ask for restricted phone privlages for now (restraining order) since he is upsetting her.

Sounds like you have a permanent order. Pretty hard to change a permanent order, especially so soon after it was issued.

He is an alcoholic. This is how alcoholics behave. Have you read any alanon books. Might be helpful in getting your head around how to deal with him. Certain reactions will feed his disease and others will create boundaries that protect you and your daughter.
