I had a complete list of EVERY place I emailed, mailed and personally submitted an application and/or resume and whether it was a "cold call", referral or from advertisement and if so, what newspaper. I also had a huge bundle of "oh geez, we think you are really wonderful person and all that, but we've decided to hire someone who's qualifications more closely fit our needs" letters
