Lawmoe, but on what grounds would a judge refuse to let her withdraw?

Hopefully it will be perfunctory because the lawyer divided her services into two parts. The first payment was for all PRE-trial work. The second was for the trial, IF the case went to trial. It is now going to trial and I am refusing to pay the additional fees.

I understand my daughter's constitutional right to representation, but I should have the right not to pay (as you said I do) and the lawyer should have a right to withdraw once she completes her obligation.
