hello~ I have posted on this board before, I am a lucky dad b/c I have 50 -50 custody of my soon to be three yr old little girl. My problem; a few months ago I picked up my daughter and she was scared to come into the house, I have had the same house since the day she was born, she knows it and loves it, she has her own room, big yard....etc. Anyway, I asked her why and she said" Mommy said the seawitch lives at daddy's house" It took a little while of just talking to her on the porch and finally she came in ,saw her toys and was happy again, fast forward to this past sunday, she came to me and asked " Daddy are you mad at me?" I said of course not, why would I ? she said that Mommy said you are always mad at me! Again, after a while, she was fine. I don't know how to handle this without a war breaking out. I have plans to take my daughter to disney world in the spring of next year, which her mother knows about but can make it hard because of our schedule. I would be infringng on her time by one day. don't want to start a fight, I already paid for the trip. How can I handle this situation? by the way, I make sure that my daughter never hears anything negative about her mother, her life will be hard enough without the drama of parents bad mouthing eachother but I don't want to be bad mouthed either.
