she became pregnant so he married her. They had something like 4 seperations. Then for the last one she called her brother and packed up and moved back to wyoming while he was working night shift. (Military) In June. I Met him in December at which time she had not allowed him to speak to the girls very often. In march when we were dating, I would be at his house and he would try and call and she would first spend 10 minutes cussing him out and then maybe let the girls on for a few minutes. They were always excited to talk to him. In July he finally got to see them with a court order and they had a good time and of course cried the whole day they had to go back. Since then he has had EO holiday and 2 months summer. The "problems" between him and the girls didn't start until we took her to court because she decided they didn't need school. It's back in the archives if you search some. And then intensified a few years later when the oldest first decided she wanted to move her because she was tired of being called stupid and mom refused to allow her to take resources classes.
So to answer your question. He had a good relationship with them while married to her, but then she tried to hide them and I have been in the picture since the begining of him being able to see them. And it has been good. In fact the oldest is very close to me as well. The youngest used to be close but has pulled away over since the custody battle. And once he can get them out here It will only take a few weeks and the realtionship will be okay again, until mom put the kids in the middle again.
