What that bio-dad did...is a form of abuse towards women. Abusive men do not see women and children as having the same entitlements as they see for themselves. That is the thinking that allows a man to walk away like that or stay to save face to friends and family, but use abuse tactics to make the women end things so he can walk away and get pity for the "guy who tried to do the right thing but SHE blah blah blah....
It's not about judging anyone. It's about women standing up for what is right for their children and protecting them.
