Was that the judge ordered both parties to drug eval, just for the accusation being raised by BM.

The judge allowed BM to do the eval in the county where she lived. They just had her go in for a chat, determined she was an alcoholic, believed her that she wasn't drinking and told her to go to 4 AA meetings.

In our county it's a little more gestopo. My husband was required to do random UA's for almost 6 months. This severely interfered with his work (you have to call everyday and go in by 4pm if it's your color day) and cost probobly close to $750. After all that he finally got a clean report.

In my husband's case they both used some recreational drugs while they where going out and it was part of the case file that one reason why BM had voluntarily left her 2 & 3 year old babies with dad #2 was because she had been drinking very heavily for quite sometime. I can understand them ordering for both due to the admitted use (my husband's though was almost 10 years ago from his early 20's while hers was past and within the last year). What was irritating was that they allowed her to be assessed by the other county and their approach was extremely lax compared to our county.
