Dear Gecko,

I can't quite understand where you are coming from here.

Are you saying:

1). Human nature isn't important when our legislators are deciding what should appear in family law (for example whether PAS should be recognised)?

2). Talking about the past isn't a good idea (what about all the great religions across the world talking about events two thousand years ago and more)?

3) Do you think I'm like your ex. or all those women telling everyone why they lost contact with their children are like your ex?

I've got a few "friends" who go on about why their husbands or wives left them at least ten years ago - maybe they haven't really gotten over it, so you could try to tell them to "Get over it", but I doubt it would make any difference.

The Catholics believe we will all be re-united with our spouses when we die don't they (?) so there is a wonderful prospect for you and I (a vision of hell perhaps). If that is so then maybe we all need to prepare ourselves as best we can for that event.

One last thought - maybe in these odd posts you can't make any sense of, which maybe don't have any real purpose I'm just trying to throw things (/ideas) in the air to see where they land.

Ferdinand Schoeman (the moral philosopher) said the main motivation for mankind is our need for close emotional ties, and that this isn't being taken account of in the provisions of society, or words to that effect.

I hope you are getting all the love you deserve and need in your life (you do need love don't you?).

If you get the chance to answer my question about "openess" in family court proceedings too, I would be grateful.

All the best, Graham

P.S. I know I am a bit recalcitrant when it comes to following your instructions, but I think CD gave me reason to believe he didn't mind too much my posting "conversations" etc.
