There needs to be strong lobby to get stiff penalties for lying about domestic abuse in a custody case also. Perhaps any legislation could help to curtail any type of false allegations.

Perhaps a law could be drafted that outlined the criteria for deciding custody issues when there are allegations of abuse and allegations of parental alienation similar to many of the move away laws.

WA move away law outlines the criteria a judge must use to make a decision and which of the criteria have the most weight. Although I don't agree with the WA presumption to allow the move away, it is nice to have a law that directs a judge on how to make their decision.
