The kids live in MT. The mom lives in WA. She travels here to see them every month and they go to see her on school breaks and for the summer.
The stepmom is constantly finding ways to limit her time w/ them. She was here last weekend for one of their birthdays... she always comes to town and goes to eat lunch w/ them at the school on their bdays. S-mom called the school to try to forbid it.. they ignored her and documented it. She refuses to provide sports equipment. Last weekend she made the 9 year old strip and change on the soccer sidelines rather than give the uniform to mom ahead of time.
Then Monday after school, mom couldnt pick them up because it was Gma XYZ day (s-moms mom). But according to the kids, all Gma XYZ did is pick them up at school and drive them straight home to s-mom.
Its all a mess. Mom and Dad get along.. but smom is calling all the shots. Child support is always current, and mom never misses a visit. Dad has admitted that smom is very hard on the kids.. but no one seems to do anything.
The mom has made an appointment w/ her lawyer to depose dads family and friends next week.. hopefully they'll be as forth coming as they were to her.
