Well soon as I filed he gets letter from DA. Calls me up all crying telling me how he can't afford to pay the $400 they proposed. Tells me this huge sob story for sure. In the past he tells me these stories then goes and buys a new car or boat or something. He laid it on really thick too.
So then he gets a attorney to write me this letter saying he wants an increase in time with son. Tells me a bunch of crap saying that he has paperwork for me to serve me with. I work for lawyer so we send him a letter back saying no and that please send me the paperwork I will sign for it. I get nothing. Two weeks later his lawyer sends me a letter telling me I have agreed to giving him every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th weekend and once every Thursday and all summer. Oh but he so graciously gave me the week before school, of course so I could buy the clothes. I sent a letter back saying I never agreed to that and by the way tell your client to go pick up the paperwork from the DA he has been stalling for 2 months now.
I was told that the attorney signed for the paperwork last week. He has threatened so m,uch but has not followed through. Is it likly he will take the amount and shut up? If he can afford $400 a month how can he afford a custody battle? He has also been manipulating son in a big way. He was very upset last week with all the stuff his dad was telling him. I am hoping if he pushes the mediation that the mediator and the judge will see right through him. He would be stupid to push it I think.
