With all the talk about whether it is o.k. for a step, grandparent, aunt, uncle, friend, whomever to pick up and benefit from a visitation, nobody has really addressed if they would be o.k. with it.

How many of you would be o.k. with your ex's (fill in the blank person whom you may or may not know) picking up your child for visitation/transfer knowing your ex would not be avialable to the child?

I've been reading the threads on this subject, and I can not help but wonder how many of you are willing to practice what you preach. Do you really support when the child is suppose to be with the other parent then that parent can elect, with no concern whatsoever for your feelings, anyone they want to be with the child? Doesn't it make so much more sense to allow the available parent to be with the child if the other is unavailable? I'm a little suprised at the people who are supporting that visitation should take place even if the parent is not available. I can't help but wonder how many of you would be willing to be denied time with your child(ren) to promote a relationship with your ex's new spouse or extended family.
