he doesn't want to come home. Being my son is with me 1/2 the time I don't look at it as a visit. He has 2 homes. Sometimes when he is home he does not want to go to his mothers...we may be having fun, going on the boat, playing with friends. As much as I want him to stay I try to explain that both mom and dad love him and they we both take care of him. I periodically ask if he is happy, anything bothering him...is is genuine and says he is a very happy kid, loves me all the way to the moon, and misses me a lot.
In the past few weeks son has been calling leaving messages about he does not want to "come visit me". That he wants to "change the days". This has happened 3 times in past 3 weeks.
When I pick him up there is not discourse, he is happy to go, not a problem. Obviously he is 5. I am wondering if mom is encouraging this? Anyone else experienced this? Remember, are time is equal. I am kind of confused. Some of the things he says, and the way he says it, does not conform with the normal way he interacts...seems out of place
