Go someplace neutral with plenty of witnesses, but by all means go. I have settled almost every dispute with my x this year by talking to his wife.. she is far more reasonable and sees beyond "winning"

I am always able to lay out the worst case scenario to her and she talks to x. For example.. one of the last times x got a wild hair to go back to court I talked to ds' counselor and had her write a letter as to how she would testify if it went to court. I showed it along with current child support calculations to x's wife: It showed that worst case scenario was that the judge would agree with the counselor, which would reduce their time by 37 days a year. And as we agreed to less than guideline support.. his obligation would double.

She weighed the options and convinced him he was nuts.. even if only 1/2 of my prediction came through.. crisis averted.

So in short.. go meet with her! Just make sure you have witnesses in case she alleges you abused her or something of the sort.
