Graham, this is a painful topic for me, but my daughter went down this path. Her hatred was so intense that she accused me of abuse. She repeated the allegation at least once before recanting. Only recently has she shown any remorse whatsoever. They fully believed her at the rehab, and a DCF case was open for months, but she was joking about it to friends on the internet, fully admitting to friends that it was a false allegation.
