Well this has got to be the damnedest oxymoron I have ever heard! They are planning to move 98 freaking miles...that's 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 HOURS...EACH WAY. So explain EXACTLY how one offers "50/50", but not travel a whole lot?
The other parent CURRENTLY lives 15 minutes away and gets to see the children every week. In order to meet the "least amount of travel time", you TAKE AWAY the every week and substiute what...standard LD package which is Spring Break, 3-day weekends, 6-week Summer and 1/2 Winter Break? There are ONLY 2 real 3-day weekends in the year...Memorial Day and Labor Day. So the other parent does NOT see the kids in January or February, gets a week in March and then doesn't see the kids until the end of May; gets 2 weeks in June, all July and 2 weeks in August or perhaps they'll break it up instead into two 3-week blocks; then a weekend in early September and then nothing until the end of December.
