We know the fire started in a chair in my carport, because neighbors saw it there before the fire spread. My daughter admitted to smoking a cigarette in the chair just minutes before the chair was seen on fire, although she angrily insists she threw the butt out into the driveway.
Finding out that she had a smoking habit may have been my worse news of the day. The fire was not as deadly, aside from the reptile of course.
